ANDY OSBURN
President and CEO, Co-founder
Andy has an extensive background in software and systems engineering management.
Prior to co-founding Diaphonics, he held the position of Senior Project
Manager with the Canadian Armed Forces. In this position, he led the software
and systems engineering of a large-scale defense system and managed software
design, development, implementation, and testing activities conducted
under contract with Lockheed Martin. Andy has also worked and researched
in the fields of digital signal processing and acoustic modeling. He holds
an undergraduate degree in science from McMaster University, a M.Sc. in
acoustics from Royal Roads Military College and an MBA from Saint Mary’s
University. Andy is also a Certified Information Systems Security Professional
(CISSP).

JOHN GIBBONS
Vice-President, Sales
John brings a strong track record of sales management to Diaphonics, with a deep background
in the automated speech industry. Prior to joining Diaphonics, he was Vice President, Sales
at Envox Americas, a division of Envox Worldwide. He was also Vice President, Integrated Technology
Sales for ScanSoft, Inc. and held senior sales management positions at Lernout & Hauspie Speech Products.

DR. MARK BOYLE
Ph.D., Vice-President, Software Development Co-founder
Mark has close to 20 years of experience in the field of human-computer
interface design. Prior to co-founding Diaphonics, he was a human factors
specialist for Aliant Telecommunications, responsible for the design
and development of software and user interfaces for telephony and Internet
products. He has also held senior positions in the fields of application
development and database design. Mark holds a Master’s degree
in psychology and an Interdisciplinary Ph.D. in Computer Science and Business.

JEREMY BERNARD
Vice-President, Marketing and Business Development, Co-founder
Prior to co-founding Diaphonics, Jeremy was a strategic marketing manager with Aliant
Telecommunications, where he was responsible for the market assessment and planning for
broadband product lines. While at Aliant, Jeremy also worked as an e-business development
manager, with a focus on partnerships and investments. Prior to joining Aliant, he was an
officer in the Canadian Naval Reserve. Jeremy is a Certified Analyst Relations Professional
and an experienced public speaker. He holds a BA from Mount Allison University and an MBA
from Saint Mary’s University.
